How To Build Resilience

There are many skills being lost in the name of progress. It takes quite a bit of courage to learn old skills but through patience and observation we can use these skills and build our usefulness and part of a community resilience. Resilience is very handy in times of sudden change. It keeps us adaptable and optimistic.  Here is our photo of a traditional thatched roof bearing snow and moss. Wood and Straw have high insulation properties with good R and N factor ratings yet so few modern buildings place importance on beautiful and natural solutions that support skilled craftsmen.
