Permaculture Design Uses Zones

In a Permaculture Design Course we teach about zones. Zones are a way of thinking about a landscape that help us organise the various elements. We would put elements such as beehives and a woodlot far from the house in out reaching zones where we have herbs and daily greens in the zone that is close to the house.
